You will have to do a little appliqué for the center circle, but it can be done on your machine. Choose a fussy cut fabric or nice embroidery for the center to spice it up! This is a reload of an older video with out the music. How to create a 12" finished sawtooth star block using the four at a time flying geese method. Inside of the block can be used to show case your favorite fabric, embroidery, or appliqué. I have used a vintage fabric panel in my block. Double Sawtooth Star 12" Block - Free Quilt Block Pattern
In this tutorial I will show you how to make individual feathers in CS7. You can use those feathers to create borders or other designs with the apply command or repeat patterns. You can download the CS7 project for the tutorial on my website at: https://dclutterstudio.com/ Click the free downloads link and scroll to h bottom to download the zip file with the CS& project file in it. It will download to your downloads folder on your computer. You can open it in your stand alone version of CS7 or put it on a usb stick after you unzip it and open it on your longarm computer.
